Camberwell is one of leafy-inner suburbs, which is around 10km from Melbourne CBD. It has the railway station serving the Belgrave, Lilydale and Alamein lines.

The main street is the Camberwell Road having ranges of fashion boutiques, retail stores, cafes and out of the ordinary restaurants.

Rialto Towers


Rialto Towers is the second-tallest reinforced concrete building and the tallest office building in the Southern Hemisphere. It is located on 525 Collins Street, Melbourne, Australia.

The Melbourne Observation Deck is on the 55th floor of the South Tower, at 234 m. Views of up to 60 km can be had on a clear day.

There is a yearly Run Up race to climb up the 1,450 steps to the top of the building.

Crown Casino


The Crown Entertainment in Melbourne is a huge complex containing shops, cafes, restaurants, hotel, cinemas, live shows, music venues and a casino all under one roof. There are 16 bars, 36 restaurants and cafes and lots of specialty shops located inside the complex.

Situated in the Southbank precinct, right next to Yarra River. On special occasions, chimney stacks lined along the boardwalk shoot bursts of flames into the air, giving the casino an awesome appearance.

Its signature attraction is the massive glass cone sitting the Coop's Shot Tower which was built on the site between 1889 and 1890.

State Library of Victoria


The State Library of Victoria is one of Australia's oldest cultural institutions. It is the major reference and research library in Victoria, responsible for collecting and preserving Victoria's documentary heritage and making it available through a range of services and programs.

With more than two millions of collections, if every item was laid end-to-end, it would stretch for 90kms. The oldest book collected in here is "Boethius' De Musica, a late 10th-century manuscript". The oldest item is Cuneiform Tablet (c2050BC).

EastLink - Construction




EastLink is a A$2.5 billion tolled "freeway" linking a large area of Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs. Its construction began in March 2005, and is scheduled for completion in Mid 2008.
